Field School Scholarship

Description:

Beginning Summer semester, 2020, the Department of Anthropology will offer several scholarships to cover the course fees associated with an approved University of Utah, Department of Anthropology field school program. This summer’s eligible field schools include:

• Zooarchaeology and Field Ecology Field School
• Range Creek Archaeological Field School
• Ethnographic Field School in Tonga
• Culture, Ecology, and Sustainability in Baja California Sur

Amount:

Varies. It will be determined by the fees required by the student’s specific field school.

Requirements: 

• Declared Major in Anthropology 
• Admitted Full time at the University of Utah
• Must submit a FAFSA application
• Award is contingent upon the acceptance into the preferred field school
