Congratulations to our very own former PhD student, and current Assistant Professor of Biological Anthropology at the State University of New York at Oneonta, on  being awarded the prestigious Tübingen Prize for Early Prehistory and Quaternary Ecology – First evidence of seasonal migration during the last glacial period.

Dr. Dorothée Drucker of the Senckenberg Centre for Human Evolution and Palaeoenvironment at the University of Tübingen states, “Kaedan O'Brien's thesis has wider importance for early prehistory and Quaternary ecology.”

According to University of Tübingen’s website, “the purpose of this prize is to foster innovative research among young scholars studying Ice Age archaeology, Quaternary ecology and human evolution.”
