Learn about Archaeology

Archaeology is the study of past human societies through the analysis of the material remains they left behind.  The Archaeology program at the University of Utah is one of the premier places to study prehistory from evolutionary and ecological perspectives.  Students are provided opportunities to develop diverse methodological skill sets including zooarchaeology, stable isotope ecology, spatial analysis, statistical modeling and ancient DNA.
